It is the pinnacle of craftsmanship that the Dot system can now be mounted in retrospect to any suspended ceiling using Rendel 28. Irrespective of ceiling material, the only requirement is a slab thickness between 1 and 25mm. This extension has the advantages of reduced installation depth and improved light output. Rendel 28 makes it possible to insert a minidriver through the drill hole. Reduced installation depths are no longer a problem. For the Dot 28, Rendel 28 also functions as an extended cooling surface – current feed of 500mA possible.
