WALL 28 – Staatspreis Design / National Design Prize 2024, Nomination

We are very pleased about the nomination of our wallwasher WALL 28 for the Austrian National Design Prize 2024. In the Interior Product Design category, the luminaire is among the selection of the year’s best submissions.

Jury Statement:
“The WALL28 performs a small miracle: the design makes the light source almost invisible due to its compact dimensions and flush-mounted installation. The product itself deliberately steps back, giving the stage entirely to the light or the illuminated wall. And although most of the spotlight is concealed, the aesthetics of the functional components have been consistently and meticulously refined to a high standard.”

The National Design Prize is presented by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs, Energy and Tourism in collaboration with designaustria® and represents the highest state honour for outstanding design achievements in Austria. The award recognises innovative products as well as services and concepts that stand out through exceptional design, functionality and quality.

The nomination underlines our ambition to develop products that integrate precisely into architectural contexts while proving the highest standards in both design and technology.
